A suggestive sunset gondola tasting in Livigno

On Tuesday 13 August, in the spectacular setting of Livigno, Carosello 3000 and the Nino Negri winery are once again proposing the Aperitivo nel Cielo initiative. A vertical journey that allows you to share an aperitif at sunset while admiring the view from a cabin travelling to the highest peaks of Livigno.

The initiative consists of tasting a selection of labels from the famous Valtellina wine cellar, accompanied by a selection of gastronomic excellences. All this while the last rays of the sun leave the valley and the mountains of Little Tibet.

Reaching the meeting point at the start of the Carosello 3000 cable car, the aperitif programme includes:

H 6:00 p.m. - Welcome glass of Cuvée Metodo Classico Brut with "Wine Telling" by a
oenologist from Cantina Nino Negri;

H 7:00 p.m. - Cable car trip to the peaks with tasting of "Mazer - Valtellina Superiore
DOCG" and "Sfursat Carlo Negri - Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG".

H 8:30 p.m. - Return to the valley with dessert accompanied by "Ispirazione Passito alpi Retiche 2019" and
live music.

The Aperitif in the Sky initiative was born from the natural union between two great brands in the area, the Carosello 3000 Mountain and the Nino Negri Winery, both symbols of Alpine excellence and innovation within the Valtellina tradition.

Availability is limited to 20 cabins that can be reserved for a maximum of 6 people each. Full details of the initiative and the possibility of booking your own cabin are available on the Carosello 3000 website.

The Aperitif in the Sky is a special event that is part of Carosello 3000's Top Experience programme, which includes the Sunrise and Yoga Experience and the Morning Walk, gondola rides at dawn with breakfast combined with the chance to take part in a yoga session on a mountain peak, or a walk to one of the resort's most evocative viewpoints at first light.

The event is realised in partnership with Nino Negri, Livigno, MUS!, Alpi Carni and Latteria di Livigno.
