For families looking for a dynamic holiday, until 15 September Carosello 3000 offers the chance to have fun on the Moki Trail, where you can enjoy the beauty of the unspoilt nature of the Rhaetian Alps while chasing the fawn Moki. The trail - 2.7 km long and 250 metres in height difference - includes six themed stages that will involve the whole family: each one includes different activities, trials and games, as well as a little house with a stamp to put on the map available at the start of the trail.
The trail mascot also awaits adults and children at Moki Park, the hut's outdoor playground at the top of Carosello 3000, which can also be easily reached by cable car. The play area - developed on two levels, one for children from 6 to 12 years old and the other for children from 3 to 6 years old - is the ideal place to entertain the little ones and at the same time stimulate their motor skills thanks to balance games, bouldering and adventurous routes, in complete safety.
Adults and children who love to enjoy authentic alpine experiences can choose one of the numerous routes to the malghe (shepherd's huts) in the area, to immerse themselves in the authenticity of nature in all its aspects. Among these is the ancient Malga Vago, where you can enjoy a typical lunch based on km0 products and then come into contact with life ‘from the stable’, experiencing first-hand the milking of the milk - and then tasting it - and trying the experience of feeding the calves. The Alpe Federia also provides a totally immersive experience of mountain life: a visit to the cowshed and dairy is followed by a dinner of appetising dishes made with wholesome ingredients.
The bike path is an ideal solution for those who prefer a relaxing family ‘bike session’: its route extends for 17 km - starting from the Livigno Dairy, in the Lago area, and ending in the Forcola area - and includes several picnic areas, as well as several playgrounds where children can stop and play while the peace of nature and the crisp air allow parents to relax.
And for families looking for a healthy dose of adrenaline? There's the Larix Park, the adventure park on the Mottolino slope that will be open until 22 September: waiting for adults and children alike are 10 routes - marked by pulleys, lianas, nets, sledges and much more - that combine fun with exercise in total safety, for an unusual and entertaining day in the open air.
Aquagranda, the resort's flagship and one of the largest state-of-the-art sports and wellness centres in Europe, makes it possible to combine relaxation with fun: its 10,000 square metres host areas dedicated to fitness, body care and wellness for young and old.
The Slide&Fun area is designed for fun for the whole family, with swimming pools, slides and much more. There is also a babysitting service, available every day - except Saturdays - from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: a highly appreciated service that allows children to play with their peers under the watchful eye of the centre's staff, while their parents enjoy some time to themselves in the Wellness&Relax area, featuring various rejuvenating proposals, such as a Turkish bath, sauna with Aufguss rituals, massage cabins...
