LIVIGNO: FEDE ACADEMY RETURNS
Livigno 23/07/2026
Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giunta's Academy returns for its fourth consecutive year to the lanes of AQ1816, the Olympic Training Centre.
There is a bond that continues to grow stronger year after year. In 2026, the Fede Academy once again has chosen AQ1816, the Olympic Training Centre, as the home of its training programme, reaffirming a long-standing partnership rooted in the years when Italian swimming champion Federica Pellegrini prepared for the defining moments of her career in Livigno—culminating in Olympic, World, and European titles.
Founded by Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giunta, the Fede Academy is supported by its main partners Livigno and Aquagranda, with Nike Swim as technical sponsor and Caffè Vergnano 1882 supporting the Academy's scholarship programme. The 2026 edition returns with a calendar of training camps and events designed to accompany young swimmers throughout much of the competitive season.
From its Olympic-sized pool and 25-metre training pool to its fully equipped gym and dedicated strength and conditioning facilities, AQ1816 once again provides the ideal setting for a project focused on the technical, personal, and educational development of its participants. Designed to support elite performance, the venue also offers a welcoming environment for young athletes taking their first steps in competitive swimming.
The 2026 programme will begin with the Junior Plus camp, running from 23 to 28 August, for swimmers aged 12 to 18. This will be followed by two Kids sessions, from 28 August to 1 September and 2 to 6 September, before the Juniorcamp takes place from 6 to 10 September. The season will conclude with the traditional Open camp, scheduled from 28 October to 1 November. This comprehensive calendar reflects the Fede Academy's commitment to supporting swimmers of different ages and experience levels, offering each participant a development pathway tailored to their individual needs.

Returning to Livigno each year feels like coming back to a place we increasingly consider our own,"said Federica Pellegrini. The Fede Academy was created to share experience, methodology, and passion with the next generation of swimmers, and being able to do so at a venue like AQ1816 makes everything even more natural. Here we find world-class facilities, outstanding professionalism, and an environment that truly provides athletes with the best possible conditions to train, learn, and grow. It is a partnership that continues to strengthen year after year, confirming each time that we have chosen the right place."
Today, the Fede Academy has become an increasingly important part of Livigno's journey towards establishing itself as a leading destination for international sports training. By bringing together elite champions, emerging talents, and passionate young athletes in the same environment, the Academy embodies a vision in which sport becomes a vehicle for growth, shared learning, and the exchange of expertise—further reinforcing Livigno's reputation as a premier destination for those seeking an authentic, high-performance sporting experience.
Coaching means helping every athlete find the right balance between discipline, self-awareness, and the joy of being in the water,"added Matteo Giunta. It is a process that requires method, attention to detail, and consistency, which is why Livigno has become an increasingly valuable part of our project. AQ1816 is an outstanding Olympic Training Centre, but what truly makes this place special is the ecosystem that surrounds it. Every element here contributes to creating the ideal environment for young swimmers to focus on their development and for every athlete to unlock their full potential."
