In Livigno, the ski season is still in full swing. Thanks to the valley’s altitude and favorable weather conditions, the ski area remains fully operational with over 115 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, offering ideal skiing conditions until May 3, making it one of the longest ski seasons in the entire Alpine region.
Situated at 1,816 meters above sea level, Livigno guarantees particularly favorable conditions for winter sports throughout the season. The quality of the snow and the continuous work in preparing the slopes allow skiers to enjoy runs in excellent condition, surrounded by spectacular Alpine views and increasingly longer, brighter days.
The ski area offers a wide variety of slopes spread across both sides of the valley, suitable for every level of experience, from beginners to expert skiers, for a total of over 115 kilometers of runs. Early in the day is ideal for skiing on the Carosello 3000 and Sitas sides, where the slopes are compact and perfectly groomed, while from early afternoon many skiers choose to move to Mottolino, where skiing continues until the end of the day. In addition, the lift opening hours have recently been extended until 5:00 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy even more time on the slopes in the afternoon.
Alongside skiing, Livigno also offers numerous experiences that allow visitors to enjoy the mountains in an exclusive way and complete a perfect day on the snow. Among these is the Top Emotion by Sitas, an experience that combines the atmosphere of the mountains with a high-end gastronomic journey: at 7:00 PM, a snowcat takes guests to the top of the mountain to Rifugio Costaccia, where an exclusive gourmet dinner based entirely on fish is served, carefully prepared by the chef and his team.
Among the most original experiences is “Chiacchiere con il bierresommelier” at Birrificio 1816, the highest brewery in Europe, which offers the chance to discover the world of craft beer and local distilling up close. The experience includes a visit to the cellar and the brewery, accompanied by qualified sommeliers who guide guests through a full tasting of beers and gastronomic specialties, exploring the pairings and characteristics of the different productions.
To make the most of this period of the season, the Skipass Free offer also returns, valid from April 11 to May 3, the closing day of the ski area. The promotion includes a free ski pass with the stay for those who book at least 7 nights in an apartment or 5 nights in a hotel. Reservations must be made exclusively through Livigno’s official booking portal.
With slopes in excellent condition and a season continuing until the first days of May, Livigno continues to offer enthusiasts the opportunity to fully experience winter at high altitude.
