Livigno, 2 luglio 2026 - Livigno and Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe are pleased to announce a new multi-year partnership that will see the Italian alpine destination become the Official Altitude Training Destination of the UCI World Tour team.
Built on a shared commitment to elite athletic preparation, the partnership further reinforces Livigno's position among the world's leading destinations for altitude training and endurance sports. Over the years, Livigno has developed a comprehensive and constantly evolving performance ecosystem, combining high-altitude conditions, state-of-the-art infrastructure, specialized hospitality and an extensive network of training routes designed to meet the demands of the world's top cyclists. The decision by Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe to establish its altitude training base in Livigno further confirms the destination's reputation as one of the leading centers for high-performance training.
Throughout the 2026 season, Livigno will serve as one of the team's altitude training bases ahead of the biggest races on the international calendar. Jai Hindley and Nico Denz have already prepared for the Tour de France in Livigno, while the partnership will continue throughout the summer as the team builds towards the Vuelta a España and the UCI Road World Championships, with leading riders including Primoz Roglic.
The partnership will also include a joint programme of content creation and activation initiatives, showcasing the athletes' preparation while strengthening the connection between the team and 1816 Bike Zone Livigno through projects aimed at the international cycling community and visitors to the destination.
