Livigno is a destination that, alongside its strong appeal for sports and nature enthusiasts, is increasingly establishing a distinctive culinary identity. Over the years, the resort’s gastronomic offering has evolved and expanded, creating a diverse culinary landscape that caters to different tastes and preferences while remaining deeply rooted in the local area and its Alpine heritage.
This evolution brings together tradition and contemporary creativity, a commitment to showcasing local ingredients, and culinary innovation, through a variety of interpretations united by a consistent focus on quality. From traditional Alpine recipes to more innovative creations, gastronomy has become another way to discover and experience Livigno, its culture, and its deep connection to the mountains.
This evolution is also reflected in the growing recognition Livigno’s restaurant scene has received from some of the most prestigious gastronomic guides. The Gambero Rosso Guida Ristoranti d’Italia 2027 features Stua de Legn – Alta Cucina Naturale, Stua Noa Fine Dining, Téa del Kosmo and Kosmo, while the Michelin Guide includes Stua Noa Fine Dining, Téa del Kosmo, Kosmo, Al Peršéf and Camana Veglia in its selection, highlighting the diversity and richness of the destination’s culinary offering.

The Identità Golose Restaurant Guide also recognizes Livigno’s culinary scene. Its selection features Stua Noa Fine Dining and Stua de Legn – Alta Cucina Naturale, two restaurants that showcase the diversity of the destination’s gastronomic offering through distinct culinary interpretations and different approaches to their connection with the Alpine territory.
Further recognition comes from the Falstaff Restaurant Guide Italia 2027, which awards Téa del Kosmo a score of 93/100, based on an assessment of cuisine, service, beverages and style, and also includes Al Peršéf in its selection. The latter further confirms its commitment to excellence with two hats and a score of 16.50 awarded by Le Guide de L’Espresso, which ranks it among the 300 restaurants featured in its 2027 edition. L’Espresso also includes Stua Noa Fine Dining in its Guida Ristoranti d’Italia 2027.

Further recognition comes with the recent Territori Sostenibili Award 2026, presented to Kosmo as part of the inaugural edition of the Guida ai migliori mountain club d’Italia (Guide to Italy’s Best Mountain Clubs). The award highlights the establishment’s commitment to a sustainable approach to dining, emphasizing the use of local resources and a thoughtful approach to the overall guest experience.
These accolades and recognitions reflect the destination’s continued growth and the increasingly central role of gastronomy in shaping its identity. In Livigno, the story of the mountains is also told through food: through a culinary scene that preserves its roots while embracing new influences, finding in quality, creativity, research and innovation the driving forces behind its ongoing evolution.
This diverse gastronomic offering enriches the visitor experience and opens up new opportunities to discover the destination, reaffirming that the mountains can also be a place to savour.
