On June 27, the Granfondo Livigno Alé returns, a highly anticipated event that brings together cyclists and enthusiasts to take on scenic road routes through the Alpine landscape, featuring demanding climbs and breathtaking views, with the epic finish line at Mottolino – the same iconic finish of a Giro d’Italia stage.
On July 10, it will be time for the Sentiero Gourmet, an experience that combines nature, cuisine and conviviality. Along a route through Valle del Vago, six gourmet stops guide participants on a journey of flavours, aromas and pairings, surrounded by nature.
On July 18 and 19, Livigno becomes the ideal stage for mountain running enthusiasts with the Stralivigno, a 21 km trail race open to athletes and passionate runners, alongside the Ministralivigno, designed for younger participants. Two days dedicated to movement, sharing and team spirit.
From July 20 to 22, Livigno will host La Milanesiana, the renowned cultural festival created and directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi. The 2026 edition, the twenty-seventh, is dedicated to the theme “Desire and Law” and brings to Livigno three evenings of words, music and performances featuring Paolo Ruffini, Irene Grandi and a special tribute to Franco Battiato.
On July 31, the Festa del Costume Livignasco brings the streets of Livigno to life for the twenty-eighth edition of the event, featuring a charming parade and performances that celebrate local history and traditions, accompanied by tastings of typical specialties. An event that fully embodies the livignasc spirit – an authentic expression of local identity – and which, while deeply rooted in history, renews itself each year as a unique and exclusive experience capable of engaging every generation.
On August 10, with the Notte Nera, Livigno is transformed into an intimate and evocative setting illuminated by candles and torches. An evening designed for everyone, featuring music, roaming performances and atmospheric moments that invite visitors to be surprised, offering an immersive and distinctive experience in the heart of the destination.
On August 23, the Festa del Fen celebrates rural life and the deep connection with the land through demonstrations, local products and convivial moments that showcase the destination’s most authentic identity. A truly livignasc event, highlighting knowledge and traditions passed down through generations, while reinterpreting them in a contemporary way and making each edition a unique opportunity for discovery.
On August 27, Livigno comes alive with the 1K Shot and the Gara da li Contrada da Livign, two very different events that are both deeply rooted in local tradition. The 1K Shot is a one-of-a-kind event: a one-kilometre snow track, created in the heart of the village in the middle of summer thanks to snowfarming techniques, hosts thrilling cross-country ski sprint races featuring professional athletes, transforming Livigno into an out-of-season winter stage. Alongside the sporting competition, the Gara da li Contrada celebrates the town’s most traditional and community-driven spirit, with the local districts competing in a heartfelt and widely followed challenge filled with pride, folklore and celebration. Together, these two events capture Livigno in its most authentic essence: where sporting innovation and local tradition meet and strengthen one another.
On September 4, the season concludes with the Icon Xtreme Triathlon, one of the most sought-after extreme long-distance multisport competitions on the international scene, combining swimming, cycling and running along a demanding course between the lake and Alpine passes, designed for athletes seeking an extraordinary challenge.
With such a rich and diverse calendar of events, Livigno confirms itself as a destination able to adapt to every travel style, offering different yet always authentic emotions throughout the season, where even traditional celebrations stand out as exclusive and identity-driven experiences.
