Exploring the most hidden snowy spots of the Little Tibet has never been so much fun thanks to the new edition of Win the Wonder, the competition open to everyone that rewards curiosity until 1 May 2022: ski passes, skiing weeks, weekends in Livigno and many rich prizes from the sponsors of the resort: Brooks, Garmin, Kask and Koo, Pinarello and Pro Action.
Win the Wonder is back, the project of Piccolo Tibet conceived to enhance the less known spots and to promote a tourism in tune with nature.
Following the great success of the summer edition, the virtual treasure hunt continues, leading tourists and travellers to live experiences like real locals in a winter key, discovering little-known places and attractions, outside the mainstream tourism circuits. The idea stems from the desire to explore new languages and communication channels, putting technology at the service of the territory: through their smartphones, visitors have the opportunity to participate in the contest and access the fantastic prizes up for grabs. To take part in the virtual treasure hunt, just follow a few simple rules: download the app My Livigno and click on the section dedicated to the contest Win the Wonder, register and consult the list of spots to reach. Once identified the location of interest, just go there and frame the QR code of the initiative. In this way, Livigno inspires travellers by suggesting itineraries and activities, perfect both for those who visit Livigno for the first time, and for those who already know the destination, but are looking for new ideas, or less known places that deserve to be known and enhanced.
The list of valid locations to participate in the competition includes famous spots such as the Crap de la Paré, a suggestive view in the mountains south of the Lake of Livigno, reachable with an easy hike with snowshoes or ski mountaineering skis of about one hour from the car park Passo d'Eira. Another mission to complete is Plazéc, a medium-difficulty excursion perfect for snowshoe lovers, but also for those who want to approach this discipline for the first time: Plazéc is part of the so-called Managed Trail, itineraries marked with special posts, suitable for budding hikers. The Win the Wonder initiative also includes the Baitel dal Plascianet, the Church of the Addolorata in Val Federia and the Sentiero d'Arte. At the end of each stage, the travellers accumulate points in a virtual wallet: the more points they collect, the more chances they have to win ski passes, skiing weeks, weekends in Livigno, but also outdoor experiences like Heliskiing and culinary experiences at the new restaurant Kosmo Taste the Mountain, panoramic paragliding flights at Carosello 3000; moreover gadgets and sports articles of Livigno's partners like Brooks, Garmin, Kask and Koo, Pinarello and Pro Action.
The competition is open also to the residents of the Piccolo Tibet, invited to participate to win prizes dedicated to them: in the jackpot stand out entries to Aquagranda, one of the biggest wellness and sport centres in Europe, season tickets for cross-country skiing and Sky Experience paragliding flight offered by Carosello 3000 and a super experience at the Kosmo Taste the Mountain.
